Building a 1 Defence Pure
Step #1: Deciding your Pure's type: Granite mauler, Dragon pure, Whip pure or Godsword Pure. 13, 15, 31, 43 or 52 Prayer.
Step #2: Questing. Bearhead, Climbing boots, Mith Gloves, Ava's accumulator, Varrok armour 1, Zamorakian book
You want to quest as much attack experience as possible. Following easy quests give lots of attack experience: Tree Gnome Village, Grand Tree, Fight Arena, Waterfall Quest. Following useful quests that give you bit of attack experience: Mountain Daughter, Death Plateau. Those two quests gives you Bearhead (Best head slot for pures) And Climbing boots (Best boots for pures, +2 Strength).
Questing for mithril gloves is highly recommended for 1 defence pures. Using mithril gloves instead of combat bracelet saves you much money pking. For mithril gloves you need to complete complete following parts or Recipe from disaster: Dwarf, Pirate Pete, Dave, Ogre, Goblins and to start the quest, the chef. You need following quests for the subquests: Fishing contest, Goblin diplomacy, Gertrudes cat, Shadow of the storm, The golem, Demon slayer.
If you're going for Dragon pure, completing monkey madness for the dragon scimitar is good option. But that limits your future ranged training, because after completing the quest, you can not go back to ape atoll to chin. Then again that method is very expensive and you can alternately train using blowpipe at nightmare zone for lots cheaper and still getting over 100k xp per hour.
Also, lost city quest is recommended for dragon dagger and nightmare zone minigame.
Varrok armour 1: Varrok easy diaries
Zamorakian book for the best attack bonus as you can have for pure. Quest required is Horror from the deep.
If you're going to be 13 prayer pure, ignore the following part. (This will get you over 13 prayer)
Lastly, Quests for ava: Animal magnetism, Ernest the chicken, Restless ghost and Priest in perils.
Step #3: Training spot and set-up.
Good training spot is Waterbirth island 3 rock crabs spot. However you can also train at experiements for good experience, but you can't afk much. Also you need priest in perils completed for that.
You want to have as much accuracy/strength and defence to get as much experience per hour and use least food as possible. Following set-up is as good set-up you can have: Bearhead/Halo, Fury, Varrok armour 1, Best chaps you can wear, Climbing boots, Regen bracelet (Heals you), Berserker ring/berserker ring (i), Zamorakian book, Skill cape/Obsidian cape/Fire cape, Best weapon you can wear (For 50 attack; Leaf bladed sword/ Brine sabre. For 60 attack; Dragon scimitar. For 70/75 attack; Saradomins sword. ).
That's pretty much all i can think of for this guide. Inform me ingame if this guide is lacking something.
